Kathy Castor’s Republican Opponent Bashes Ron DeSantis for Sending Illegals to Martha’s Vineyard

Businessman James Judge, the Republican candidate taking on U.S. Rep. Kathy Castor, D-Fla., in November, is opposing Gov. Ron DeSantis’ decision to send illegals to Martha’s Vineyard.

“Using human beings who are fleeing socialism, including women and children, for political gain, is absolutely disgusting and the furthest thing from being Christ-like that I can imagine,” said Judge. “For someone who talks about putting on the full armor of God, I think our governor got this one tremendously wrong.”

Judge insisted politicians from both sides of the aisle “don’t care to actually fix our immigration issues at all and would rather grandstand to score political points and headlines in order to raise more money” as he continues his bid to take on Castor.

“Democrats like Kathy Castor demonize law enforcement officers for actually doing their jobs and enforcing the law, while actively sponsoring legislation to make their jobs more difficult and strip much-needed funding,” Judge said. “Castor, Pelosi and Biden’s policies are inhumanely ushering in illegal immigrants, which inadvertently supports organized crime, drug cartels and terrorism while creating a serf-like class of workers.”

“At the same time, establishment Republicans have embraced a terrible approach by vilifying all immigrants as criminals, including those who are genuinely fleeing oppression, and that’s just wrong,” Judge added before putting his faith on display.

“As Christians, we’re called to love our neighbors. And, whether you’re a Christian or not, I think it’s evident that both political parties are significantly failing our citizens and our neighbors. They have become divisive to the point of hatred, and we are at a really ugly place in American history. I believe our society needs to recheck the moral compass and try to do unto others as we would have them do unto us,” Judge said. “At the end of the day, we are Americans, and we are so much better than where we currently are.”

Castor, who is the favorite to keep her seat in November, also weighed in on the matter last week.

“Gov. DeSantis’ treatment of Venezuelan families is inhumane and cruel. It’s wrong to use children and families as political pawns, providing no info on their destination and no solutions to the humanitarian crisis,” she insisted. There is nobody DeSantis will not hurt and insult in his desire to be president, the weaker the better for DeSantis. Governor, America will not abide your callous and cruel politics. It is clear that you lack capacity to find real solutions to the tough problems.”

Castor praised Gov. Charlie Baker’s, R-Mass., “leadership and humanity for vulnerable families during their time of need.”
