All this funding was approved in March of this year in the amount of a $1.3 trillion funding package passed in the U.S Senate 72-24 and in the House 286-134.
The committee’s report titled, “Chauffeur at the Border, Concierge in the Interior: How the Biden Administration Rewards Illegal Aliens on the Taxpayers’ Dime” for costs to U.S. taxpayers” puts most of the blame on the Biden White House but also says Republicans were complicit with Democrats in helping to pass the funding to create these free services for illegals.
Describing the process from the Biden administration, the report says, It encourages “illegal aliens to arrive at the border, chauffeurs them into the interior, and then rewards them with concierge services, all on the taxpayers’ dime and at the expense of public safety.”
