Brightwater Strategies Group, PLLC, a premier Florida-based consulting firm specializing in governmental affairs and environmental strategy, is proud to announce the addition of Jason Andreotta to its leadership team.
Andreotta joins Brightwater following a distinguished career at the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), where he most recently served as Assistant Deputy Secretary for Regulatory Programs. Bringing more than two decades of experience in environmental regulation, water resource management, and ecosystem restoration, Andreotta adds significant technical expertise and strategic insight to the firm’s expanding client portfolio.
His addition further strengthens Brightwater’s ability to support development projects, investment groups, and agricultural stakeholders as they navigate Florida’s complex regulatory environment and advance long-term strategic objectives across the state.
During his tenure at the DEP, Andreotta was instrumental in overseeing the state’s regulatory districts, working with industries across the state, and supporting Florida’s water quality programs. His ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes and build consensus among diverse stakeholders has earned him a reputation as one of Florida’s most effective environmental leaders.
“Jason is a rare talent who combines a deep technical understanding of Florida’s environment with an unparalleled ability to solve complex problems,” said Noah Valenstein, Founding Partner of Brightwater Strategies Group and former DEP Secretary. “Having worked closely with Jason for years, I know firsthand his commitment to finding common-sense solutions that protect our natural resources while supporting Florida’s economy. His addition to our team ensures that Brightwater remains at the forefront of environmental and governmental strategy in the Sunshine State.”
At Brightwater Strategies, Andreotta will focus on providing strategic guidance to clients in the private and non-profit sectors, helping them navigate the intersection of environmental policy, regulatory compliance, and governmental affairs.
“I am thrilled to join Noah and the exceptional team at Brightwater Strategies,” said Jason Andreotta. “Throughout my career in public service, I have focused on delivering results for Florida’s environment through collaboration and innovation. I look forward to bringing that same dedication to our clients and helping them achieve their goals in this ever-evolving landscape.”
