Aetna Better Health of Florida Brings Partners Together to Advance Maternal Health

Aetna Better Health of Florida (ABH-FL) continues to prioritize maternal health by bringing together healthcare providers, community organizations and families to help improve outcomes for mothers and babies across Florida.

Earlier this week, ABH-FL collaborated with AdventHealth to host a Maternity Roundtable in support of the From the Start initiative. The event brought together healthcare leaders, community partners and other stakeholders for conversations focused on strengthening maternity care and addressing the needs of mothers and families throughout pregnancy and beyond.

ABH-FL joined the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration and other partners to discuss opportunities to advance maternal health and ensure families have access to the necessary care, resources and education. The roundtable highlighted the importance of collaboration across the healthcare system and the role providers and community organizations can play in supporting healthier pregnancies and better outcomes for mothers and babies.

Through efforts like the Maternity Roundtable, ABH-FL continues to work alongside partners across Florida to connect families with meaningful support before, during and after pregnancy, helping to build healthier communities statewide.
