The Associated Industries of Florida announced its endorsement of Republican Anthony Bonna for Florida House District 85 in the 2026 Election.
AIF President and CEO Brewster Bevis said Bonna’s record in Port St. Lucie and his support for business-friendly policies made him the organization’s choice in the race.
“From helping deliver tax relief and economic growth in Port St. Lucie to advocating for policies that support small businesses and job creators, Anthony understands what it takes to keep Florida competitive and prosperous,” Bevis said.
Bevis added that Bonna has shown “responsible leadership” and a “pro-business approach” that AIF believes will help create opportunities for Florida families and employers.
Bonna said he was honored to receive the endorsement from the statewide business organization.
“Florida’s business community is the driving force behind our state’s economic success,” Bonna said. “I’m committed to supporting policies that cut red tape, create jobs and foster innovation to ensure Florida remains a state where families and businesses can thrive.”
Bonna said he looks forward to working with AIF to promote economic prosperity in Florida and protect what he called “common-sense values.”
Associated Industries of Florida, known as “The Voice of Florida Business,” has represented business interests before Florida’s executive, legislative and judicial branches since 1920.
