This week, Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody announced that reservations and speaker nominations for the 2023 Human Trafficking Summit are now open.
Each year, the summit brings together local, state and national leaders who are working to eradicate all forms of trafficking. The summit will launch on Oct. 3, 2023. It is free of charge and will cover recent updates in Florida’s fight to end human trafficking.
“Each year, the Human Trafficking Summit brings together experts and leaders from across the state and nation who work tirelessly to end trafficking. I’m excited to announce that reservations and speaker nominations for this year’s event are now officially open! I encourage everyone to reserve their spot now and to learn how to help us in the fight to end human trafficking,” Moody said.
Each year, the summit creates educational opportunities that allow stakeholders in the fight to end this crime to continue working to protect victims, prevent trafficking and prosecute traffickers. This year, the summit will feature presentations by experts covering a variety of recent updates and developments in topics including:
Legal;
Service Delivery; and
Education and Awareness.

The annual Human Trafficking Summit is hosted by the Florida Attorney General’s Office, the Statewide Council on Human Trafficking, the Department of Children and Families, the Department of Juvenile Justice, the Department of Health and the Florida Alliance to End Human Trafficking, Inc. This year’s educational partner is Florida State University.
