‘Bidenomics’ TV Ad Targets Florida Democrats

In a new TV ad called “Bidenomics,” Americans for Prosperity (AFP) focuses on the Biden administration’s spending and regulation policies. The ad also points out the liberal voting record of central Florida Rep. Darren Soto (D), who has consistently supports President Biden’s economic agenda.

The commercial running in Soto’s district says, “When you vote for Bidenomics, American families suffer.” The ad asserts “Bidenomics” is failing American families. “Floridians need an extra $11,400 today just to afford the basics, and more than 60% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck.” says the AFP commercial.

Soto is one of the top 26 congressional districts where the AFP ad is running.

Other conservative groups like the Heritage Foundation give Soto an “F” for supporting more businesslike, free-market policies.

“Floridians are tired of paying more and getting less. The fact is ‘Bidenomics’ doesn’t help anyone,” said AFP Florida Director Skylar Zander. “These failed policies are only hurting hardworking families in our state. We can’t afford what ‘Bidenomics’ is trying to sell, and we’re calling on our leaders to fight for families struggling to make ends meet and stand for economic prosperity,”

The latest Producer Price Index (PPI) report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics showed PPI is up 19% since Biden took office, directly hitting consumer’s pocketbooks. The ads targeting Rep. Soto will run on digital and connected TV in Florida.

In early March, AFP-FL launched ads targeting Rep. Soto’s runaway spending on Bidenomics and national debt passing $34 trillion.
