President Donald Trump’s new Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator, Lee Zeldin, has been uncovering billions in slush funds that were distributed by the Biden White House to Democratic Party-supporting environmentalist groups as a way to reward their support.
Zeldin asserted that billions were given out to push Biden’s “Green Energy” climate proposals from the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) that was passed by Congress in 2022.
Described as “front groups” to promote the Biden green agenda, one of the recipients was American Climate Corps. This federal program was looking to fill more than 20,000 positions for young people to travel throughout the U.S. to advocate clean energy, conservation, and climate resilience sectors.
David Williams from the Taxpayers Protection Alliance said the Climate Corps was nothing more than an extension of the political campaign arm of the democrats for 2024.
“The federal government was going to send young people to swing states convincing voters about the benefits of the infrastructure bill and the IRA and how it was going to save them money and put money in their back pocket with government rebate if they went along with solar panel on their roofs and become for energy efficient,” said Williams.
Another form of taxpayer “Slush funds” went through an entity called the Power Forward Communities. It was made up of a coalition of national organizations to go into communities and how to save money on their utility bills by having consumers ditch their appliances and instead buy “more efficient” products that were promoted by the EPA under Biden.
Fox News’ Steve Harrigan reported how $2 billion went to the Power Forward Communities coalition.
EPA administration Zeldin points out that $50 million was sent to the Climate Justice Alliance that promotes “The path to climate justice travels through a free Palestine.”
$160 million went to a school bus program to promote green energy, and the company that was behind it went bankrupt, and $95 million worth of school buses for 55 school districts hasn’t been completed.
Zeldin also says $5 billion was going to the Coalition for Green Capital. According to the group, money was to be directed toward pushing forward billions in clean power investment, focusing on low-income and disadvantaged communities.
