John Lynch (Safety, 1993-2003)
Hall of Famer John Lynch brought toughness, intelligence, and physicality to the Buccaneers’ secondary. Renowned for his hard-hitting style and leadership, Lynch was a key figure in organizing the defense and delivering clutch plays.
Lynch was a captain on the Buccaneers’ Super Bowl Championship team in 2002. He is considered one of the most talented workhorses in franchise history, and ranks fifth in games played (164), sixth in games started (132).
