Celtics Hand Heat 5th-Straight Loss in 143-110 Blowout

The Miami Heat had no answers for the Boston Celtics‘ offensive arsenal in a 143-110 blowout loss. In a rematch of last year’s dramatic Eastern Conference Finals, six different Celtics players scored double figures, led by Jayson Tatum, who finished 26 points and added eight rebounds and four assists in only 32 minutes of play.

Miami’s offense was led by Bam Adebayo, who finished with 19 points and five rebounds.  Heat point guard Tyler Herro, who also scored 19, added six assists in a losing effort.

Tonight’s loss comes after a 105-99 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies, and marks Miami’s 6th loss out of its last 10 games.

Miami travels to Madison Square Garden to face the New York Knicks on Saturday.

The Heat are 24-21 overall and are currently 1st in the NBA’s Southeast Division but 7th in the Eastern Conference standings.
