Cryptocurrencies Fall Along with NASDAQ, DOW

As of 11:30 AM, Cryptocurrency prices were trending downward, with the Coinbase 50 Index (COIN 50) by an average of approximately 4.2%, while the NASDAQ Composite was down by 3.04% and the Dow Jones Industrial was down by 0.78%.

Market analysts attribute the drops to uncertainty among investors and consumers alike surrounding potential tariffs that President Trump has vowed to impose on Mexico, Canada and China. Toward the end of last week, Trump told members of the press that the market’s poor performance over the past few weeks should only concern globalists, not average Americans.

“For years the globalists, the big globalists have been ripping off the United States”, Trump said. “All we’re doing is getting some of it back, and we’re going to treat our country fairly.”
