President Donald Trump will be coming to Florida next month to speak about Israel.
The Israeli-American Council (IAC) announced that Trump will be speaking at its annual summit on Saturday, Dec. 7 at the Diplomat Resort and Hotel in Hollywood. According to the IAC, the event “will bring together nearly 4,000 attendees from around the world for critical dialogue and inspiring sessions as part of an event that shapes the Jewish communal conversation.”
“It is an honor for us to host the president of the United States, who is addressing a non-political Jewish organization for the first time,” said Shoham Nicolet, the co-founder and CEO of the Israeli-American Council. “This is great news not only for our organization but for the entire pro-Israel community in America, which supports unwavering ties between the United States and Israel.”
Other speakers include Dr. Stanley Fischer, the former vice chairman of the Federal Reserve; Yonatan Winetraub, the co-founder of Space IL; and Isaac Herzog, the chairman of the Jewish Agency for Israel.
Trump is also scheduled that day to appear at a fundraiser for the Republican Party of Florida (RPOF) in Orlando. As he runs for a second term, Trump has been focused on keeping Florida in his column, including launching his campaign in Orlando over the summer.
