Over the past 35 years, Universal Orlando Resort has cycled through dozens of film and television-themed rides and attractions that draw millions of local, national, and international visitors to Universal Studios Florida and its newer sister park, Islands of Adventure.
This summer, Universal will open its newest park, Epic Universe, , which will feature a blend of both classic and contemporary films, as well as various entertainment franchises. Before the attractions were announced, many theme park enthusiasts expressed a desire for one section of Epic Universe to be dedicated to classic rides, including some of the original attractions from original rides at Universal Studios Florida.
If Universal decides to expand its presence in Orlando, there are five former rides that would likely be welcomed back by the thousands of loyal visitors who have expressed their disappointment over attractions that have been replaced over the years.
