New salary map reveals Florida is America’s 15th lowest-paying state for AI workers, averaging $101,940.
AI video creation platform Revid AI looked at 11,305 AI-related job listings from Glassdoor across all 50 states to identify where workers can currently find the highest salaries.
Florida findings:
Florida ranks 15th-lowest in the US for AI salaries, placing 36th overall with an average advertised salary of $101,940. The state recorded 365 AI job listings, with a median salary of $95,500, while advertised pay ranged from $24,960 to $240,000.
That puts Florida noticeably behind both of its neighboring states. Georgia ranks 12th nationwide, with AI jobs paying an average of $118,657, around $16,700 more than Florida, while Alabama ranks seventh at $128,091, more than $26,000 higher. Interestingly, Florida still recorded considerably more AI vacancies than either state, with 365 listings compared with 227 in Georgia and 141 in Alabama.
The ten highest-paying states for AI jobs
Washington takes first place with 427 AI job listings and an average salary of $161,654. Its median salary of $156,000 sits close to the average, suggesting that the result is supported by consistently well-paid vacancies rather than just a handful of unusually high salaries.
