This week, the Florida Police Chiefs Association (FPCA) endorsed state CFO Jimmy Patronis for reelection.

“On behalf of the Florida Police Chiefs Association, we are honored to endorse Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis for reelection,” said FPCA President and Daytona Beach Shores Public Safety Department Director Stephan Dembinsky. “CFO Patronis has been a vocal and resolute champion of protecting and defending law enforcement officers as they serve the people of Florida.”

FPCA First Vice President and Fellsmere Police Department Chief Keith Touchberry said, “CFO Patronis has consistently made the health and welfare of first responders a priority all the time, not just when it’s politically convenient, and we know we can count on his continued leadership.”

FPCA Second Vice President and Clermont Police Department Chief Charles “Chuck” Broadway said, “CFO Patronis has always led from the front during times of tragedy like major hurricanes and the Surfside building collapse, delivering the support first responders need to do their job.”

Patronis has no opposition in the Republican primary later this month. He will face former state Rep. Adam Hattersley, who has no opposition in the Democratic primary, in November.
