Florida’s Chief Financial Officer Blaise Ingoglia has been on a mission and that’s been exposing wasteful spending by local county and city governments.
Florida’s DOGE efforts by CFO Ingoglia have been getting praise by small government advocates and now he’s receiving praise from Florida’s top law enforcement officials.
This week, the CFO has over 60 Florida sheriffs endorsing him his 2026 Florida Chief Financial Officer campaign. Ingoglia has also obtained endorsements from the Florida Fraternal Order of Police.
“I’m endorsing Blaise Ingoglia for CFO because he is tough as nails on crime. While other states cave to soft-on-crime laws, Blaise ensures that doesn’t happen here. Voting for Blaise Ingoglia is the smart and safe choice for the future of Florida,” said Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd.
Another popular sheriff in the state also gave high marks to Ingoglia for his stance on supporting police officers.
Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey said, “Florida is the law and order state, with a zero tolerance for crime, in large part that is thanks to leaders like Blaise Ingoglia.”
Before he became the state’s CFO, Ingoglia was a state senator who helped pass legislation cracking down on criminal illegal aliens and supported laws championed by Gov. DeSantis making sure law enforcement officers across the state were taken care of with higher pay and retention bonuses.
There are rumors floating around that Ingoglia may get a challenge against him in the Republican primary. But if that were to happen, it may be difficult to defeat the current CFO considering the latest group of sheriff’s endorsements.
“This CFO is making popular head waves among the republican base identifying wasteful spending in many of these Florida communities. Couple that with the support of law enforcement, and it will be tough for challenger to defeat Ingoglia in 2026,” said political commentator Tom Gaitens.
