Florida’s Favorite Christmas Songs

Analysis of Google search volume data has revealed which Christmas songs are the most popular in Florida.

Florida’s favorite Christmas song is All I Want for Christmas Is You by Mariah Carey, with 12,140 average monthly searches.

Last Christmas by Wham! ranks second, with 5,768 monthly searches, and Silent Night by Michael Bublé is third, with 5,043 monthly searches.

The study (https://www.playusa.com/)Play USA, gathered Google search volume data for the previous 12 months (November 2023 to November 2024) to find which of the 100 top Christmas songs are being searched for the most in Florida. Researchers analyzed over 800 unique searches, including those for each song title and seven other popular terms, such as ‘Holly Jolly Christmas lyrics’ and ‘Jingle Bell Rock chords.’

The results revealed that All I Want for Christmas Is You by Mariah Carey is the most popular Christmas song in Florida, with an average of 12,140 monthly searches.

The second most popular Christmas song is Last Christmas by Wham!, with 5,768 searches per month, and the third favorite song is Silent Night by Michael Bublé, with 5,043 monthly searches.

In fourth and fifth place are Jingle Bells by Michael Bublé and Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree by Brenda Lee, with 5,023 and 3,912 monthly searches, respectively.

On a national level, the most popular Christmas song is All I Want for Christmas Is You by Mariah Carey, with an average of 155,648 monthly searches for the Christmas classic.
