A new study reveals the best wedding venues across each US state. Social casino site, Hello Millions scraped data from every wedding venue across the 1,000 largest cities in the US using theknot.com. A total of 11,823 unique wedding venues were found, of which 5,006 were studied after removing those with fewer than ten reviews, with at least one venue in each state. Factors were scored and weighted into an index, and each venue received a score out of 100, upon which the final ranking was based.
Eight factors were analyzed for each venue, including the number of amenities, number of settings, number of ceremonies offered, services offered, price range, guest capacity, average rating, and the number of reviews.

“There are several important factors that determine which venue is right for your wedding.
For example, finding a venue that comfortably accommodates your guest list. If a venue is too small, it will feel cramped, and alternatively, if it is too big, it may seem empty.”
Availability and timing are also key, as popular venues can be booked out for months or even years in advance. If you have a specific date in mind, you may find that many venues are already unavailable; therefore, planning ahead is key.”

Methodology
Data was analyzed from every wedding venue from each of the 1,000 largest cities in the US using theknot.com.
An initial list of 129,237 venues was scraped.
This list was then condensed to a total of 11,823 unique wedding venues, removing duplicates.
From this list, 5,006 were studied after removing those with less than ten reviews. There is at least one venue in every state.
Eight factors were analyzed for each venue, including the number of amenities, number of settings, number of ceremonies offered, services offered, price range, guest capacity, average rating, and the number of reviews.
Factors were scored and weighted into an index, and each venue received a score out of 100, upon which the final ranking is based.
