FWC’s ‘Catch a Florida Memory’ Program Looking to Honor Fishers, Holding Raffle for Kayak

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission’s “Catch a Florida Memory” program is looking to honor anglers fishing in the Sunshine State.

The program’s Triple Threat Club status is awarded to anglers who have qualified for recognition in all three Catch a Florida Memory programs, meaning they have caught a Saltwater Grand Slam, a Saltwater Reel Big Fish and have qualified for at least the Saltwater Life List 10 Fish Club. Triple Threat anglers receive a dry fit performance shirt and are eligible for exclusive Triple Threat opportunities. Anglers only need to qualify for the Triple Threat Club once and membership never expires.

The Triple Threat Throwdown is an exclusive raffle opportunity for Triple Threat Club Members. One lucky angler will win an SS127 series kayak from Bonafide fully loaded with an accessory package from YakAttack. The entry period will run from January 1, 2023, and close September 5, 2023, midnight EDT.

Anglers must qualify for recognition between January 1, 2023, and September 5, 2023, and be a member of the Triple Threat Club at the time of the drawing.

Eligible recognitions include a Grand Slam, a Reel Big Fish Recognition, or a Life List Recognitions from the list below.

Life List Recognitions include: 10 Fish Club, 20 Fish, 30 Fish Club, 40 Fish, 50 Fish Club, 60 Fish, and 70 Fish Club.

Honorable Mention and Florida State Record submissions are not eligible recognitions for the Triple Threat Throwdown.

Each angler will only receive one entry into the Triple Threat Throwdown raffle.

Raffle will be drawn after September 5, 2023, when all submissions made during the challenge period have been reviewed.

The winner will be notified via phone or email.

Submissions must comply with all Catch a Florida Memory program rules.
