Kamala Harris Aides Want Biden To Resign For Her To Be President

With the blame game taking shape on last week’s election loss for Democrats, a small group of Kamala Harris supporters wants Biden to resign so she could become the first female president.

Jamal Simmons, former communications director for Vice President Harris, is leading the charge. He says with just weeks left from his term, Simmons and others are asking Biden to move over and allow Vice President Kamala Harris to become the 47th president, which would also include her being the first female president of the U.S.

“Joe Biden has been a phenomenal president,” Simmons said. “He’s lived up to so many of the promises that he’s made. There is one promise left that he can fulfill: Being a transitional figure. He could resign the presidency in the next 30 days, make Kamala Harris the president of the United States. He could absolve her from having to oversee the January 6 transition of her own defeat.”

With the negative publicity democrats are currently having over the 2024 election loss, Simmons says  “It would dominate the news at a point where Democrats have to learn drama and transparency and doing things in the public we want to see. This is the moment for us to change the perspective of how Democrats operate.” .

If Biden were to step down and Harris were to take over for the remainder of the term, Democrats feel it would distract from Trump and his transition over the next two months.

Kamala surrogates are also offering up the idea if Harris were to become president that, it might make it easier for a female candidate to run in 2028 on the Democratic side.
