Vice President Kamala Harris is now officially the Democratic nominee. She accomplished this feat without securing a single 2024 primary vote (and she did not notch any votes in the 2020 primaries either).
This should not really shock anyone because Joe Biden was elected “from his basement” with the fawning collusion of the Mainstream Media. It did not really matter who the Democrats nominated back then because the press had already decided that it would promote any Democrat under the banner of “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”
The puppeteers of the Democratic Party – Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and Hakeem Jeffries – only had to make something happen, and that was something that had not happened since 1968, which was to convince an incumbent President not to run for reelection. By moving up the first Presidential Debate to the earliest date ever, they allowed Americans to witness what they already knew for themselves: That President Biden was getting progressively worse very quickly, and that if they did not replace him, then the Democrats would lose the Presidency and perhaps the Senate and House.
Despite private protestations from Biden’s privileged wife and felon-son and a small, tight circle of senior White House insiders who continued to whisper in Biden’s ear that he could still win, their plan took almost too long to reach the desired effect of replacing Biden with Harris.
This insider coup is all the more remarkable because the leaders continued to play nice publicly while they practiced a scorched-earth policy behind-the-scene. With Biden now out of the way, Pelosi has even suggested that Biden should be carved into Mount Rushmore which she knows will never happen. So much for placating an old friend with niceties now.
However, this was only the first of three problems that the Democrat leadership had to weather. First, they had to work to keep Harris out of any one-on-one encounters with reporters – any reporters – until after the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, and so far, the press is willing to play along and not insistently asking to speak with Harris. This is a Godsend because she is not ready yet to confront the press.
Second, they had to devise a sneaky plan to allow Harris to flip on basic, rudimentary progressive-centric issues that she has promoted since she first came upon the national political scene. But how do they accomplish that if she is talking with reporters, holding press conferences, and conducting interviews? Well, they “keep her on the plane” so that she never has “time” to sit down and answer questions one-on-one.
Simultaneously, the Democrat’s leaders must leak to the press that her once rock-solid positions on the progressive political wish list, such as pouring humongous amounts of money quickly into the economy, keeping the border open, allowing illegal aliens to get healthcare and other taxpayer-financed benefits, pushing electric cars and climate change as an existential challenge, defunding the police, reparations, fracking, government-run healthcare, WOKE educational policies, transgender care and indoctrination for elementary-age children, raising taxes because more money solves all issues, increasing the administrative state because Big Brother knows better than you do, and supporting heinous criminal Hamas over freedom-loving Israelis, are all up for grab because she is going to flip axiomatically all of her positions.
Of course, the mainstream press will be overcome with utter joy to carry the torch of propaganda so that unknowing and ill-informed Americans, who really are not paying attention to presidential politics until after Labor Day, the new “truths” that Harris has evolved, even if it only took 16 days! So, the steady drumbeat from the mainstream media is now in full throttle to convince all willing to be deceived, that Harris is not really a progressive, she is, in fact, a moderate.
This issue flipping, I mean transformation, is critical because the Obama Team knows, in their hearts and minds, that Biden’s policies are poisonous and defeating. Yet how does Harris transform herself to the middle when she has always been on the Far Left? And if she intends to succeed in this alien transformation, what will her Far Lefties think of her abandoning their favored policies?
That is where the third plank of the Democratic plan had to be initiated—her Vice President pick. If she picks an ultra-liberal like herself, then she can molt into anything that she wants because the mainstream media will accommodate her, make excuses for her, leak talking points for her, and not push her to talk to them as they work to make the secret plan successful.
Minnesota Governor Tim Walz is everything that Haris is, or was? Yes, he embodies the very principles that she has espoused, minus the word salads, since she was District Attorney in California back in 2003. Walz will be the shill for the Harris stalking-horse issue platform, and he will be the progressive in the White House, or at least that is what they will tell their fellow progressive and Far Left minions.
Meanwhile, Harris will take a page from the Biden playbook, and she will promise to her lemmings to “Unite America,” to “Save Our Democracy” from TDS, and to liberate Americans so they can be whatever their little hearts desire. If you want to be a donkey, cat, mongoose, or platypus, you name it, and you can be it!
Americans, though, were hoodwinked back in 2020 when Biden said he would represent all and govern from the middle. Most Americans know that neither ever happened. That is why his personal likeability is and has been in the gutter.
Harris is now enjoying a long honeymoon, and the money is rolling in, but all honeymoons end.
Harris-Walz represents a thin veneer of honesty, truthfulness, and competency. In the coming months, Harris-Walz policies will be examined, even if only by #1 news channel Fox, Newsmax, and a few others. So, Americans only have to ask the simple question that Ronald Reagan asked in 1984, “Are you better off today than you were four years ago?”
