Key West Police, US Border Patrol Apprehend Illegal Immigrants on Higgs Beach

According to reports from Key West Police Department and the Keys Weekly Newspapers, 11 illegal aliens in exile from Cuba were met by law enforcement on Monday at Higgs Beach. All exiles were reported in good health, and law enforcement officials are investigating the group.

Last year, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis activated the Florida National Guard to assist US Border Patrol officers the keys region after hundreds of illegal aliens in exile from Cuba were arriving at Dry Tortugas National Park.
