Miami Ranks Among Nation’s Top City for College Graduates Seeking Employment

A recent study found that Florida’s largest city has become a thriving hub for recent college graduates in search of their first career. Miami ranked #1 of all U.S. cities for college graduates, thanks to its high rankings in the categories of employement and tech ecosystems.

The study, conducted by the English-learning platform Preply,  analyzed the 75 largest U.S. cities based on employment opportunities, cultural and social environment, quality of life, educational and professional development, technology and innovation ecosystems and diversity and inclusion. Another recent study  

“Our research revealed that The Gateway to the Americas is excellent for grads looking to connect with other professionals and start a career in higher education,” the study’s report reads. “Miami has the highest number of co-working spaces of any city, with 57.87 per 100,000 people. It also boasts the highest number of colleges and higher education institutions, with 12.27 per 100,000 residents.”

Earlier this month, Miami also ranked as a top city for college grades in a study conducted by Apartment Advisor. In that study, Miami ranked 7th overall,  No. 2 for its density of restaurants and dining options, and No. 3 density of entertainment options.
