OP-ED prediction by publisher Ed Dean
Liberal groups have been conducting polls for Vice President Kamala Harris about whether President Joe Biden will be pushed to the side for this year’s election.
One of those groups: Way to Win. They said they paid for two polls over the last two weeks on the VP and found her ratings to be somewhat favorable. The group admitted that support for Harris support wasn’t doing well among independent voters, but she was connecting with younger voters, black and Latinos that aren’t too fond of President Biden.

However, former First Lady Michelle Obama is someone who polls much higher than Harris. Some GOP members believe she could still enter the 2024 election to save the democrats.
“I think he’s (Biden) going to be forced out,” said Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX ). “I put the odds of Biden not being on the ballot in November at about 80 percent. It will either be Michelle Obama, or it will be Kamala Harris. And I predicted they were going to push Joe Biden out and replace him with Michelle Obama. That may still prove to be the case,”
If it is Harris, the Trump campaign says they are ready. Last week, team Trump sent out an email calling Harris, “Biden 2.0” Most analysts believe Michelle Obama could pose a threat to Trump if she ran, but as of now, there are no signs of that.
But if Harris gets the green light to run, Marc Thiessen, a conservative columnist for the Washington Post, says Democrats are stuck with her.
“Harris isn’t going to stand aside and let somebody else be the nominee, she’s going to fight for it, and she’s going to play the race card,” said Thiessen
Thiessen says no way the Democrats are going to replace Harris, a black woman vice president, with a white male.
