NRCC Hits Darren Soto on Gas Prices

This week, the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) launched billboards and digital ads targeting more than 20 Democrats in the U.S. House, including U.S. Rep. Darren Soto, D-Fla., on gas prices.

The NRCC announced the ads “will appear in close proximity to gas stations in FL-09 and comes as the AAA average nears $4 a gallon.”

“Rising gas prices are a fresh gut punch to millions of Americans already struggling under Bidenomics,” said Jack Pandol, a spokesman for the NRCC. “Every trip to the pump is a reminder that extreme House Democrats put their radical war on American energy ahead of working families’ wallets.”

First elected to Congress in 2016, Soto took 53.6 percent of the vote in 2023 against Republican Scotty Moore who pulled 46.4 percent.
