One Company May Pay Some Floridians $70,000 a Year To Smoke Marijuana

If recreational marijuana gets placed on this state’s ballot and gets approved by the voters, the industry says jobs will be created.

But a new type of employment is now being advertised as the “Ultimate Stoner Dream Job.”

Smoking accessories brand company DaySavers is offering job positions to smoke and test out trending cannabis products and get paid over $70,000 a year.

The company says the full-time creator and event marketer will be chosen to earn $70,420, complete with annual bonuses, travel expenses, and other perks. They are also looking to hire other content providers for social media, blogs, Instagram photos, video reviews, TikToks, and more.

“The reason why we call it a ‘dream job’ is because a lot of people are super passionate about cannabis but very few are able to actually be in the industry professionally,” said a official from the company.

Stoners, rejoice! If you’ve ever been fired for failing a drug test – or maybe your ambitions are as high as you want to be – this new role might be the one for you.

This is how the job description from DaySavers reads.

The job description asks, “Do you like smoking weed? And a passion for cannabis, we want your application!”

“Selected candidates will be sent free DaySavers products to use and smoke! Blunt tubes, pre-roll cones, grinders – we want you to try our products and use your social media and content creation skills to tell people about them. Talk about a dream job!”

With medical marijuana already in the state, consumers’ use of Cannabis products has increased as an alternative to traditional medicine in products such as gummies, topicals, oil, and relaxing supplements.

Currently, 25 states in the U.S. have decriminalized and recognized marijuana as a recreational drug.

DaySavers say there is one catch when applying for the job, applicants must be 21and up to be considered for hiring.
