U.S. Rep. Brian Mast. defeated attorney Lauren Baer (D) in the general election for Florida’s 18th Congressional District on November 6, 2018.

Biography of Rep. Brian Mast:

Education: Mast graduated from South Christian High School and received a B.L.A. from the Harvard Extension School.

Career: Mast served in the U.S. Army for 12 years under the Joint Special Operations Command JSOC as a bomb disposal expert. Mast also provided expertise to the National Nuclear Security Administration and the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco & Firearms. Following his retirement from the military, Mast worked as an explosive specialist for the Department of Homeland Security. He also received a B.L.A. from the Harvard Extension School.
