Poll: 64% of Voters Say US is Headed in Wrong Direction

According to a recent national survey by Rasmussen Reports, only 29% of likely voters in the US believe that the country is heading in the right direction. The survey was conducted via telephone and online from March 1 to March 7, 2024.

Sixty-four percent (64%) of voters believe the nation is headed down the wrong track, down two points from a week ago.

The national telephone survey of 1,516 U.S. Likely Voters was conducted by Rasmussen Reports from March 3-7, 2024. The margin of sampling error for the survey is +/- 2 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC.
