Poll: Most Democrats Still Don’t Believe Biden Profited From Hunter’s Deals

New poll results from Rasmussen indicate that a majority of Democratic Party registered voters don’t believe that President Joe Biden profited from his son’s deals with Chinese-government connected companies.

Rasmussen reported that 58% of Democrats polled continue to believe Biden didn’t make money off the deals, including 35% who say it’s Not At All Likely. Among likely U.S. voters, 57% say it’s likely that Joe Biden personally profited from deals , including 42% who think it’s very likely, compared to 35% who don’t believe it is likely , including 21% who say it’s “not at all likely.”

Fifty-Nine percent of independent voters and 81% of Republican voters think it’s at least somewhat likely that Biden profited.

The survey of 907 U.S. Likely Voters was conducted on February 29 and March 3-4, 2024 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Sixty-nine percent (69%) of Likely Voters have closely followed recent news reports about Hunter Biden, including 33% who’ve followed the news Very Closely. Thirty percent (30%) haven’t closely followed news about the president’s son. More Republicans (46%) than Democrats (28%) or unaffiliated voters (26%) have been Very Closely following news about Hunter Biden.
