On Tuesday, Gov. Ron DeSantis announced the addition of Nassau, Pasco and Pinellas Counties to the list of counties where Florida Publix pharmacies are administering the COVID-19 vaccine, bringing the total number to 325 in 23 counties.
“My administration remains laser-focused on making the COVID-19 vaccine accessible to seniors through our partnership with Publix,” said DeSantis.
“With the addition of Nassau, Pasco and Pinellas Counties now administering vaccines, we are able to continue our ever-expanding mission to support Florida’s seniors,” the governor added.
All vaccinations by Publix at their select locations are by appointment only. Qualified individuals can make an appointment by visiting www.publix.com/covidvaccine. The governor’s “Seniors First” strategy prioritizes Floridians 65 and older to receive the vaccine.
