“I’m pleased to announce the appointment of Randall Hunt to lead our efforts at the Florida Lottery,” DeSantis said on Friday. “Randall’s entrepreneurial skills and perseverance will serve him well as he takes the helm of this important department.”

Hunt is based out of Lake Mary where he is the owner and CEO of national fitness chain Athletic Apex. He is a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association and recently joined the Florida Council of 100. Back in February, DeSantis tapped Hunt to serve on the board of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority.
