This week, U.S. Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla., wrapped up a trip to Eastern Europe “to reinforce the United States’ unwavering commitment to Ukraine and NATO allies in the face of Russia’s murderous invasion” and honor Holocaust victims.
Scott spent Easter with members of the military at Ramstein Air Base in Germany. He also visited Poland and Lithuania during his trip.
In Warsaw, Scott took part in a Holocaust remembrance event.
“I was honored to join U.S. Ambassador to Poland Mark Brzezinski today for a Holocaust remembrance wreath-laying ceremony in Warsaw, Poland. We will never forget the victims of the Holocaust and always support the survivors, their families, the entire Jewish community and our great ally Israel,” Scott noted on Tuesday.
Scott also met with Polish Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Marcin Przydacz this week.
“We discussed America’s unwavering commitment to Ukraine and Nation allies in the face of Russia’s invasion,” Scott posted on social media. “The United States and Poland #StandWithUkraine.”
