Rick Scott Responds to CPI Report by Slamming Biden Administration

Florida Senator Rick Scott (R) responded to the latest Consumer Price Index report by saying that Americans are ready for a turnaround from President Joe Biden‘s economic policies.

The CPI report revealed an increase 2.7% percent over the year in November 2024. Product-specific average price increases include beef up 5%, pork chops up 5.1%, eggs up 37.5%, fruit up 3.3%, beans up 7.4%, and butter up 3.6%. In an official statement released earlier today, Scott said that Biden will be remembered for a 20% inflation spike and its burden on American families.

“Whether it’s at the gas pump, grocery store, or paying rent, inflation continues to climb and so do prices as Biden takes advantage of Washington’s broken status quo with trillions in reckless spending,” Scott said. “It’s time for a total fiscal turnaround on the national level to get our economy back on track, just like we did in Florida. With Trump back in office, and Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy heading the Department of Government Efficiency, we can get to work ending the inflation nightmare plaguing the American people by reining in big government, cutting wasteful spending, paying down the $36 trillion debt crisis and growing our economy. It’s not too late to save the American dream and January 20th can’t come soon enough.”
