Ron DeSantis Appoints Belvin Perry Jr. to the FAMU Board of Trustees

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.— Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Belvin Perry Jr. to the Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University Board of Trustees.

Belvin Perry Jr.
Perry is retired and previously served as a Personal Injury Attorney for Morgan and Morgan law firm and the Chief Judge on the Ninth Judicial Circuit. Active in his community, he has served as the Chair of the Trial Court Budget Commission, the Chair of the Florida Innocence Commission, and the President of the National Conference of Metropolitan Courts. Perry earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Tuskegee University and his juris doctor from Texas Southern University.
