Ron DeSantis Appoints Nina Ward as Bay County Supervisor of Elections

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis appointed Nina Ward of Panama City as Supervisor of Elections for Bay County.

Ward is the Deputy Supervisor of Elections for Bay County. In addition to her role as deputy, she serves as a member of the Panhandle Credit Union Advisory Council, the Deane Bozeman School Student Advisory Council, and the National Association of Election Officials. Ward attended Gulf Coast State College.

Ward will replace current supervisor Mark Anderson, who publicly announced his plan to retire and set an official date of June 6, 2024. Ward will officially start her position on June 8.
