Ron DeSantis Receives Nine Bills from the Florida Legislature

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis received the following bills from the Florida Legislature. Bills among the nine include HB1365, which would ban the homeless from camping in public spaces, and HB 1451, which would ban cities and counties from accepting other states’ driver’s licenses for illegal immigrants as a valid form of I.D. Gov. DeSantis has until March 27, 2024, to act on these bills.

CS/SB 330 – Behavioral Health Teaching Hospitals

CS/CS/SB 1036 – Reclassification of Criminal Penalties

SB 322 – Public Records and Meetings

CS/SB 7016 – Health Care

SB 7018 –  Health Care Innovation

HB 1451 – Identification Documents

CS/CS/HB 1365 – Unauthorized Public Camping and Public Sleeping

CS/HB 1589 – Driving Without a Valid Driver License
