SunRail’s ‘Choo-Choo to the Zoo’ Returns

Below is a news release from SunRail.

SunRail and the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens announced the return of “Choo-Choo to the Zoo” Monday through Friday, beginning on Monday, March 15, through Friday, March 22, 2024. This exciting partnership will offer children, families, and animal lovers of all ages an alternate way to visit the zoo during spring break without the use (or expense) of driving a car to the popular Seminole County destination.

Leisure travelers can take SunRail to the Sanford Station where they will find a free, “Choo-Choo to the Zoo” themed shuttle waiting to transport them to the front gate of the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens in less than 15 minutes. Return shuttle times are aligned with scheduled SunRail departures from the Sanford Station and are posted for customers at the drop off areas at the Zoo and at SunRail.com.

Zoo guests may show their SunRail ticket or SunCard to receive 20% off their single-day admission during this weeklong event. This discount does not apply to zoo tickets purchased online.

For additional information and train times, visit SunRail.com.
