TAMPA, Fla. — Travelers in Tampa Bay will soon have a new way to reach the Caribbean. Tampa International Airport (TPA) and Breeze Airways announced nonstop flights to Montego Bay, Jamaica, beginning Feb. 11, 2026.
The new service marks Breeze Airways’ first international route from Tampa International and its 30th overall destination from the airport. The flights will operate seasonally, twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays, pending final government approval.
“This is a major milestone for both Breeze Airways and Tampa International Airport,” said TPA CEO Michael Stephens. “Tampa Bay travelers will soon enjoy convenient access to Montego Bay’s world-class beaches and vibrant culture, all at affordable fares.”
Breeze Airways founder and CEO David Neeleman emphasized Tampa’s role in the airline’s growth. “Tampa was one of our original launch cities, and we’re excited to bring our first international flights here,” he said.
Founded in 2021, Breeze now flies more than 300 routes serving over 80 cities across the U.S. The airline promotes a low-cost model with additional amenities such as its Ascent premium seating, onboard Wi-Fi, free family seating, and no change or cancellation fees.
Introductory fares for the new Montego Bay flights start at $99 each way and are currently available on Breeze’s website.
The addition strengthens Tampa International Airport’s growing reputation as a hub for both domestic and international travel while expanding affordable options for Florida passengers seeking Caribbean destinations.
