The Top Fast Food Food Chains in Florida and U.S. Airports

The Upgraded Points, a travel company, researched which fast-food joints were the busiest at Florida airports and others nationwide.

Chick-fil-A was number one, 42%. Their bestselling food items at airports were chicken nuggets, sandwiches, and waffle fries.

Number two was Burger King, at 30%. The best items travelers bought before going on an airplane were breakfast and lunch wraps, such as burgers.

Wendy’s was number three. Their menu attracted more of a health-conscious passenger with items like their salads. But the Frosty was also a top seller at airports too.

McDonald’s was number four. The researchers were surprised that the well-known establishment came in lower than others. Their Happy Meals passengers found it to be quick to order before going on an airline.

Also tied with McDonalds as the busiest fast-food chain was Subway. Like Wendy’s, passengers also bought sandwiches that offered a healthier choice.

Other fast-food chains made the top list. Panda Express, Chipotle, Panera, and Taco Bell.
