With Spring Break fast approaching, online consumer portal site Bonus Finder set out to find the biggest party hotspots in the U.S. for 2025.
They compared more than 170 destinations in 14 categories, including factors such as the number of clubs and bars, late-night food venues per 10,000 people, and the affordability of drinks; we were able to determine the best party cities across the country!
1. Key West, FL – With an impressive party score of 8.95 out of 10, Key West has been crowned the best party destination in the US. The city boasts the highest number of clubs and bars (19.29 per 10,000 people), late-night food venues (32.15 per 10,000), and hotels (62.78 per 10,000) per capita outshining every other city in the country.
Key West also secured a perfect nightlife rating of A+, thanks to its vibrant atmosphere and high number of special event parties, including New Year’s celebrations and Spring Break festivities.
2. Panama City, FL – Earning an impressive party score of 8.09 out of 10, Panama City claims the second spot among the best party cities in the US. The city ranks second in the nation for the number of clubs and bars (3.93 per 10,000 people) and special weekend parties (12 – 3.63 per 10,000 people).
It also ranked third for its number of hotels (18.15 per 10,000 people) and fifth for its late-night food scene (1.51 per 10,000). With an A- nightlife ranking, drinks averaging just $5, and bars open until 4 AM, Panama City is an affordable and electric party destination.
3. Atlantic City, NJ – With a party score of 7.79 out of 10, Atlantic City ranks third on our list. With no last call, the most concerts (5 per weekend), and the most casinos per capita (0.23 per 10,000), it’s a haven for night owls. It’s also a budget-friendly destination, offering affordable hotels ($114/night) and a strong late-night food scene (7th per capita).
4. Daytona Beach, FL – With a party score of 7.71 out of 10, Daytona Beach lands fourth on the list of best party cities, ranking third for the number of clubs and bars (3.77 per 10,000 people) and special weekend parties (8 – 1.17 per 10,000 people). It also excels in late-night food options (third per capita) and provides plentiful accommodations (second for the number of hotels per capita).
5. Biloxi, MS – Scoring 7.62 out of 10 thanks to its 24/7 nightlife, Biloxi rounds out the top five party cities in the US. It ranks second in the country for casinos per capita (0.22 per 10,000 people) but it’s also an affordable party spot, with drinks averaging $4.50 and hotels costing just $136 per night.
The top 10 was completed by Las Vegas, NV (7.47), Charleston, WV (7.44), Reno, NV (7.40), Green Bay, WI (7.33), and Albany, NY (7.32).
At the other end of the spectrum, two California cities—Los Angeles, CA (6.37) and Santa Clarita, CA (6.44)—ranked at the bottom.
Other Florida cities that made it into the top 100 included St. Petersburg (15th), Sarasota (18th), Fort Lauderdale (34th), Cape Coral (36th), Tampa (53rd), Orlando (85th), Miami (92nd), Tallahassee (99th) and Jacksonville (100th).
