Jacksonville gained 14,066 residents, the fourth-highest percentage of growth, which elevated its population to 985,843, nearly 6,000 more residents than Austin, TX, for the #10 ranking. Cape Coral in Southwest Florida had a population increase of 7,540 people between July 2022 and July 2023.
