UNF Ranked in Top 5 Colleges for Financial Planning

UNF announced this week that its Coggin College of Business ranked fifth in the “Top-Ranked Colleges for Financial Planning” by Wealth Management magazine.

The University of North Florida (UNF) is ranked among the top colleges when it comes to wealth management.

UNF announced this week that its Coggin College of Business ranked fifth in the “Top-Ranked Colleges for Financial Planning” by Wealth Management magazine.

“At a recent national industry conference, our students were approached by numerous employers regarding this distinguished ranking,” said Ron Heymann, UNF’s Financial Planning Program director and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). “This boosts our program into the national spotlight and reflects the passion and dedication of our faculty and students.”

The university showcased the program this week.

“UNF’s Financial Planning Program is one of only a few degree programs in Florida that meets the educational requirements to sit for the CFP Exam. CFP certification is generally recognized as the highest standard in the personal financial planning industry. UNF’s courses are taught by industry professionals who are mostly CFPs and carry vast experience in the field. Program alumni have secured jobs at JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank, Fidelity and other prestigious firms,” UNF noted. “Graduate and undergraduate students gain real-world experience with managing money as part of the Osprey Financial Group, a student-managed investment fund. Students also have opportunities to network and learn from a wide range of professionals through events hosted by the Financial Planning Association student chapter.”
