Universal Orlando Will Close Two Popular Stores in CityWalk for ‘New Experiences’

An official statement from Universal Orlando Resort regarding the upcoming closure of two popular stores at Universal Citywalk:

Cinnabon and Quiet Flight at Universal CityWalk will close to make way for exciting new experiences. The last day of operation for Quiet Flight is April 14 and the last day of operation for Cinnabon in its current location will be April 28.  Stay tuned – more details will be revealed soon.”

According to Attractions Magazine’s website, replacements for those stores could include a Nintendo shop and a butterbeer bar. A second Cinnabon is in Port of Entry at Universal Islands of Adventure. Attractions Magazine also reported that Universal also has re-released last year’s popular Dueling Dragons merchandise line from Halloween Horror Nights, removing the event’s branding. The merchandise only features a sweatshirt ($55), a t-shirt ($30), and a poster. It can be found at the Heraldry store in the Lost Continent.
