Which Florida Sports Teams Have the Highest Ticket Demand?

The sports betting website Thelines.com analyzed Google search data over the last 12 months for all 125 Major League sports teams in the U.S. to find out which people were most desperate to see.

And for Floridians, the Miami Dolphins are topping the leaderboard.

They compete in the NBA as a member of the Southeast Division of the Eastern Conference. With 27 straight wins in the 2012-13 season, the team holds the third-longest winning streak in NBA history.

Despite low in-game attendance averages, the Tampa Bay Rays have a monthly average of 172,338 searches. Based in Florida, the Tampa Bay Rays are a baseball team that competes in MLB as a member club of the American League East Division, which includes the world-famous New York Yankees. Although they have yet to win a World Series, the team has won two AL pennants and four AL East Division titles.

4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers average 142,751 searches per month. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are a football team that plays in the NFL as a member of the league’s National Football Conference South division. They have won two Super Bowl titles, most recently in 2020.
