The National Taxpayers Union (NTU) has released its annual report card for the first session of the 118th Congress of the United States.

The group, which advocates for smaller government and a fairer tax code, says only five Republicans in the U.S. House from Florida received an A grade on voting for the right way on fiscal policy.

Those five include Representatives Byron Donalds, Aaron Bean, Anna Paulina Luna, Greg Steube, and Bill Posey.

NTU, for years, has calculated voting habits by members of Congress on topics dealing with a simple and fair tax system, lean and efficient government services and regulations, sustainable fiscal policies to avoid national bankruptcy, and permanent limits on taxes, spending, and debt.

NTU says Congress voting in favor of conservative policy is dismal. “The average in both chambers was only 43 percent,” said the group.

But the top five listed have been consistent in another congressional scorecard.

In May of this year, The Institute for Legislative Analysis (ILA) released the voting trends on Florida U.S Congressional members and who was the most conservative.

Among Florida Republicans here are the most conservative in the U.S. House.

Rep. Greg Steube 98%, Rep. Byron Donalds 98%, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna 97%, Rep. Matt Gaetz 96%, Rep. Bill Posey 95%, Rep. Aaron Bean 94%, Rep. Cory Mills 94% and Rep. Michael Waltz 91%.
