Allegiant Travel Co. will add five new nonstop routes to its network, including a new service from St. Pete–Clearwater International Airport (PIE) to Huntsville International Airport (HSV) in Alabama, starting March 5, 2026.
“This expansion bolsters our service in existing markets, and we look forward to introducing our brand of service to a new market,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant’s chief commercial officer.
The other new flights include:
- HSV to Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport (FLL) beginning Nov. 19, 2025
- HSV to Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) beginning Feb. 12, 2026
- Orlando International Airport (MCO) to Appleton International Airport (ATW) in Wisconsin, starting Jan. 16, 2026
- Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) to Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport (ROC) in New York beginning Feb. 13, 2026
Allegiant has also extended its booking schedule through May 2026.
The new Huntsville route follows Allegiant’s earlier 2025 launch of a PIE–Colorado Springs service. St. Pete–Clearwater International has seen a 197% increase in passenger traffic from 2014 to 2024 and is preparing for major expansion projects to meet rising demand, including a parking garage and terminal expansion projected to cost between $180 million and $220 million.
