Breeze Airways Announces Four New Nonstop Routes Connecting Orlando and Tampa to Other U.S. Cities

Breeze Airways announced four new nonstop routes connecting Florida airports with destinations in Mississippi, New York, Pennsylvania, and Utah, with introductory one-way fares starting at $49.

Three of the routes serve Orlando, while the fourth connects Tampa with Erie, Pennsylvania. According to the airline, all four routes were previously unserved by nonstop flights.

The announcement included service beginning between December 2024 and February 2025, providing additional travel options for passengers heading to Florida during the winter and spring seasons.

New Orlando and Tampa Routes

The airline announced the following routes and introductory fares:

  • Orlando–Gulfport-Biloxi, Mississippi: Service beginning February 6, 2025, operating Thursdays and Sundays, with fares starting at $49 one way.
  • Orlando–Ogdensburg, New York: Seasonal service beginning February 13, 2025, operating Thursdays and Sundays, with fares starting at $89 one way.
  • Orlando–Provo, Utah: Service beginning December 21, 2024, operating Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, with fares starting at $79 one way.
  • Tampa–Erie, Pennsylvania: Seasonal service beginning January 8, 2025, operating Wednesdays and Saturdays, with fares starting at $69 one way.

The new connections were designed to give travelers in smaller and underserved markets more direct access to Central Florida and the Tampa Bay region without connecting through larger airline hubs.

“We’re connecting the dots between some of our existing cities with these exciting new routes, all of them previously unserved,” said Breeze Airways founder and CEO David Neeleman.

“These nonstop flights give our Guests the ability to travel comfortably and affordably to great destinations in Florida – especially during the cold winter months,” Neeleman added.

Breeze Expands Low-Cost Flight Options

Breeze Airways launched ticket sales in May 2021, initially serving 16 cities. The carrier has since expanded its domestic route network with an emphasis on nonstop connections between markets that traditionally have fewer direct flight options.

The airline operates Airbus A220-300 aircraft featuring premium seating options and high-speed Wi-Fi. Passengers can purchase individual amenities or choose bundled fares that include additional benefits such as baggage allowances and seat selection.

Breeze also promotes flexible booking policies, including no change or cancellation fees for qualifying reservations canceled or modified at least 60 minutes before departure.

The airline was recognized among the top five domestic airlines in Travel + Leisure’s reader rankings for three consecutive years at the time of the announcement.
