Op-Ed by Barney Bishop III
As the Democrats come together in Chicago, so do the allies of the Party and the Far Left.
While the talking heads are highlighting the thousands of protesters in the street outside the United Center, the real problem will be inside.
Because there are some official delegates to the Democratic National Convention that are pro-Hamas and Anti-Israel, just like outside.
Their goal is to ensure that their ideology is enunciated and highlighted during the convention which is contrary to what the Democratic cabal desires. So, these rabid delegates are going to make their voices heard throughout the convention, and this will throw shade on Kamala.
While there was unity during the Republican National Convention last month in Milwaukee, the hallmark of the DNC will be disunity, chaos, and hostility – inside and out.
This is not because the zealots on the Far Left want to win, although they certainly do, it is because they demand attention, and they will do whatever is necessary to get their point across.
We now know that Iran is primarily behind the pro-Hamas movement and that it has infected our children and youth who believe that America is an “occupier,” “unworthy,” and “racists.”
Make no mistake, China, Russia, and North Korea are also working overtime in the far reaches of our country, on TikTok, and the internet to foment discord, disinformation, and revolution.
Witness the summer of 2022 when blue cities and states across the country were on fire, federal buildings were attacked, law enforcement and First Responders were wounded and accosted and entire central cities were shut down and occupied.
Democrats do not believe in a strong military or in a vibrant national security. They only believe in the “collective” and that government is the answer to every question – which, of course, means more taxpayer money thrown away without concordant results.
The Chicago convention will be more of the same, and if Kamala Harris is elected, there will be four more years of America going in the wrong direction which polls have indicated now for over three years of this administration.
Regardless of whether it is the rights of criminals, the elevation of climate change to an existential threat, a porous border that seems to allow more terrorists and drugs in our country than ever before, transgender rights over everyone else’s rights, higher taxes, no lucid foreign policy, the Democrats will foster violence and dissent both inside and outside the convention hall.
This is not recipe for success in November.
1968 redux.
With the aid of a fawning press that willingly goes along with this frightening vision of the future, Americans are continuing to see for themselves what the Dem’s refuse to acknowledge.
That America is indeed in decline and that most Americans readily acknowledge that while we are not a perfect nation, that we are still the best historically, by far.
The key concept for Americans to grasp is, will you feel safer and better off after the Democratic convention concludes?
The answer will be a definitive no.
