Disney World Increases Ticket Prices for 2025 Reservations

By Matt O’Hern

For fans of “The Happiest Place on Earth,” the cost of happiness is increasing. A visit to Walt Disney World will be more expensive next year, based on the park’s latest updates on the ticket-planning section of Disney’s website. Tickets for 2025 were made available to the public earlier this week, and the new offering displayed on the site revealed that single-day admission ticket prices elevated by as much as $20, depending on the day and the park chosen.

For example, admission to EPCOT on Aug. 1, 2025, is listed at $174, compared to $154 for Aug. 1, 2024, marking the highest increase among Disney’s four major theme parks in Florida. Using the same dates to compare other parks, Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Formerly known as MGM Studios), saw a $15 increase for admission, going from $159 to $174. Animal Kingdom increased $10, going from $144 to $154, and the Magic Kingdom also had a $10 increase, going from $169 to $179.

Admission prices will vary based on date. But this year, Disney World’s cheapest ticket is priced at $109 (for select dates in the summer). Starting next year, the lowest starting price for a ticket is $119. No increases for seasonal passes have been posted as of Feb. 29, 2024.

According to Disney’s website, those looking for a cheaper trip should aim to book tickets for late August and September.
