Four Florida Congressmen Honored for Efforts to End Experiments on Animals

The White Coat Waste Project (WCW) honored four Republicans representing Florida in the U.S. House with the group’s 7th Annual Waste Warrior Awards for exceptional leadership in efforts to end cruel, dangerous, and wasteful taxpayer-funded animal experiments.

WCW is a 3-million-member government watchdog group working to find, expose and defund more than $20 billion in wasteful taxpayer-funded animal experiments.

The group honored U.S. Reps. Byron Donalds, R-Fla., Brian Mast, R-Fla., Bill Posey, R-Fla., and Greg Steube, R-Fla., with the awards.

White Coat Waste Project’s President and Founder Anthony Bellotti weighed in on the awards.

“Representatives Mast, Posey, Steube, and Donalds are tireless champions for animals and taxpayers,” said Bellotti. “We’re proud to honor them with a well-deserved Waste Warrior Award for their outstanding work to crack down on $20 billion in reckless government spending on cruel, dangerous, and wasteful experiments on dogs, cats, and other animals at home and abroad in places like Wuhan and Russia. Most taxpayers oppose Uncle Sam’s wasteful spending on animal tests, and we look forward to continuing our work with these Waste Warriors to save more tax dollars and animals from government abuse. Stop the money. Stop the madness!”
